Mahogany produces a crisp, bright tone that gradually sounds deeper and warmer with age.
Our Cardenas acoustics are made using mahogany backs and sides. All of the instruments in this series use solid Canadian sitka spruce tops, with the exception of our C25 (pictured) and C25-DCES which are made entirely of solid mahogany.
The C15-D is our least expensive solid topped dreadnought guitar. But don't be fooled! We've cut zero corners when it comes to this instrument. Far beyond the written details the C15-D's detail, build quality, playability and sound are indicative of an instrument costing hundreds more!
